Once upon a time there were three little pigs and it’s time for them to leave home. Then they all decided to build houses. The first little pig built his house out of straw. The second little pig built his house out of sticks. The third little pig built his house out of bricks. One night the big bad wolf, came across the first little pig in his straw house and before the wolf got to eat the little pig the little pig ate him, just before that the little pig saw on facebook that a wolf was hanging around and the three little pigs lived happy ever after.

Hello,
ReplyDeleteYour story begins in a very normal, familiar way and then has an interesting twist. I always thought the wolf should have met with a fate similar to the one you chose. It was clever to turn the tables and have the pig eat the wolf. Pigs are not generally dangerous animals so your version makes the reader stop and think about what would really happen if they were.
Updating your fairytale by using a facebook reference adds humor to the story. I wonder what a pig would include in their facebook profile. Engaging the readers imagination is a great way to make a connection and keep them engaged.
My suggestion is to take another look at your sentence structure. Remember to use a period at the end of a complete thought.
Your story was fun to read. It gave me many ideas to think about.
