Dead Fly Art

Just for fun this week, I asked the kids who wanted to work with some dead flies to produce art work - surprisingly there were quite a few who felt the need to express themselves...a few of the results are above, the rest can be viewed on the right.

VERY funny and some great thought went in to producing these

dragon news by Samara

have you heard about the dragon that dark, waiting for the children on their way home from school? what are you going to do about it?

On the night of the full moon a young dragon was flying around. He was flying quiet low. well a lot than he usually did. All of the dragons drunk moonlight. And it was moonlight that enabled them to fly. Tonight the full moon was giving them lots of energy and enabling them to fly a lot better than usual. Suddenly the sky went pitch black as a large flock of black birds flew across the sky. The young dragon instantly lost the power to fly. And try as he might, he couldn't stop him self from plummeting to the ground. He desperately looked round for a place to land. He saw a flat clear place to land and aimed for it minutes later he crashed to the ground. Luckily it was around 1pm on a Tuesday night. So nobody heard him land.

Wednesday morning there where rumors that there was a monster in the park that ate naughty children. Wednesday afternoon the rumors even more exaggerated. So now there was a 100m monster in the park. That ate 25 children, 20 cow, 15 sheep, 10 chickens and 5 pigs for breakfast, lunch and tea. He was covered in red armour that no weapon could break. And a breath of bright yellow fire, could kill you.

I decided to have a look my self to see if it was true.

After school I ran to the old brick gates and crept inside. I sprinted down the gravel path with different types of trees on each side.

Finally I came to a clearing and curled up in the corner was a silver dragon. He awoke with a start when he saw me and looked at me warily. I walked up to him cautiously.

Suddenly he started speaking a different language and the strange thing was that i could understand it. He told me about him self and how he go here. He also told me where he lived. He told me about the moon mountains where the dragons live, the cliffs where the griffons and pheonixs live, the forest where the elves, brownies, centaur, fauns, anomagus and lots of other magical creatures live. "I wish I could go there with you" I exclaimed "Well maybe you could" the young dragon replied.

"Apparently if dragons fall down from our land, to get back they must carry a human boy and a brownie girl" the young dragon mumbled.

Suddenly there was a rustling from the bush and two cat eyes peered through the leaves. The cat eyes were bright green. The bushes parted to reveal a young brownie girl she had 4 arms and dark brown fur. She said her name was Sorrel "Blooming death caps!" explained Sorrel
"Look!!" I looked and saw what she was talking
