The bolt

Suddenly I heard a crack, so I looked up at the sky, as a thunder bolt shot down at me. I quickly dodged the thunder bolt but it just about hit me. I sprinted hoping that a thunder bolt didn't hit me, but there was one problem I had and that was: my house was still ages away. Suddenly, out of nowhere the ground vibrated. I looked at the ground and right there in front of me was a massive and I mean massive, crack in the ground, from where a thunder bolt hit it. I panicked. I sprinted even faster, but it wasn't enough.
