Help when you need it..... just isn't there

I was outside cleaning my pond in my backyard, because we were having some friends around for tea, and we wanted the house to look nice. I was still in the pond when my dad lunch was ready, so I got out of the pond, too off my boots, and washed my hands. We ate lunch and talked. When we were finished lunch, I got my boots back on and went back to the pond. Dad stayed inside to help mum clean up, and so he could talk to her. I was I the pond when I slipped but I couldn’t get my head back above the water…
