Rugby Training 2 - Scarlett

              Rugby training
For the past few weeks, Room 11 have been doing rugby training with some people from the rugby committee.

We have learnt things like what way is the right way to hold a rugby ball, how to throw a rugby ball and lots more. For the last two weeks Room 11 have had to do rugby in the hall because it has been raining. In the hall for the first week we played a game of netball but with a rugby ball. Sadly this week I was not able to play because I have a sore ankle

It looked like they were playing banana tag and rippa madness. Banana tag is a game were if you get tagged you have to stand on a lean with your arms up and when the people that have not been tagged come to save you they have to pull the persons hands down to give a peeling effect. Rippa madness is a game where you have a rippa belt and two rippa tags and you have to run around in a limited space and try to rip as many tags as possible in a short space of time. When your time has run out everyone has to count up all of there own rippa tags and the person with the most tags is the winner.

when we did rugby outside we did a lot of ball skills like throwing and kicking. The kicking was really fun and so was the the throwing, we got showed the 'w' witch means that you have to throw and catch the ball with your hands in a 'W' shape.
                        bye Scarlett
