The Change

"Pushing through the earth" someone shouted when I was strolling  through Times Square. Nobody paid attention to this bizarre man, but they should have . I got home and started to watch the world wide news. The reporter came on and said the whole of England was disappearing and turning into dirt then America, Canada and everywhere else. My apartment filled with dirt slowly. I tried to get out but it was like quicksand. From my window I could see the ocean drying up. It was the end of the world, until something came and changed the whole universe.
