Scarlett - Week 5

How to make vanilla cupcakes

You will need:
2 ½ cup of plain flour Image result for sprinkles
1 ½ tsp of baking powder
225g of butter
2 cups caster sugar.     16-18
3 eggs
1 ½  tsp vanilla extract
1 cup milk
Mothoud. Preheat oven to 180o regular bake and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.

Then sift flour and baking soda into a bowl. In a separate bowl beat your butter and caster sugar together until light and fluffy. Then add your eggs one at a time beating thoroughly between each one. Now add your vanilla and mix in.

Now add a quarter of your dry mix in with a quarter of your milk. Repeat this step until  all of your milk and dry ingredients are gone.


Spoon batter into your cupcake liners and cook for 16-18 minutes. Use a skewer to poke a hole in the middle of a cupcake to check if they are ready. When they are ready pull out of the oven and place on a cooling rack to cool. Serve them with your favorite frosting and dust with a few sprinkles.
